Click on Settings in the top menu to access the app's options. Here you can bring changes to your email communications, adjust your policies, and set up a storage to archive your groups.
The default email address your owners will receive ShareGate Apricot notifications from is firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can replace the default email address by a more recognizable address in your organization.
Start to type the name of a valid user in the search field and search results will appear. Select the desired account to make it your email sender for the app.
Note: The email address of a licensed Exchange Online user is required.
Do not disturb list
You can add specific users to the Do not disturb list to prevent them from receiving email notifications from the app.
Start typing the name of a valid user you want to add to the Do not disturb list. Once found, select the user and he will be added to the list.
Toggle on Auto-entrust to allow the app to automatically entrust new groups to their owners (this setting will not apply to existing groups).
Entrusted owners can help you make decisions about unused groups and confirm that external sharing links are valid and secure. For more information click here.
Use Group purposes to see why each Office 365 Group has been created at a glance. Categorized groups can be filtered and sorted in the Groups screen.
To manage and create group purposes, click on next to Group purpose. For more information click here.

Toggle on Activate the ShareGate Apricot bot in Teams to activate the Teams bot. The bot will reach out to owners of newly created Office 365 groups to ask about their purpose and sensitivity. For more information click here.
Policies for entrusted owners
You can determine the number of days without any usage it takes before a group is deemed inactive. For more information click here.
Click on to add a custom message in the email notification that will be sent to the owners of your inactive groups.
Toggle on External sharing review with the switch next to the title. When you turn on this feature you can determine the number of days between each review and a start date. For more information click here.

Azure storage for archived data
By default ShareGate Apricot provides a default Azure storage for your group archival needs. The default storage is in Microsoft Azure's East US 2 region, and your data is secure at all times (at rest and in transit) and stored with 3 layers of encryption.
